Following last month’s triple valuation, Quantum Systems deepens its autonomous focus through FERNRIDE deal

German autonomous systems developer Quantum Systems has acquired FERNRIDE, a company specializing in autonomous ground mobility. This move aims to create a comprehensive offering that integrates air and ground-based unmanned systems, reinforcing their position in the rapidly evolving market for intelligent autonomous technologies. The merger reflects a strategic push towards a connected ecosystem for unmanned systems. Quantum Systems, having previously secured €180 million in funding, is expanding its capabilities by acquiring FERNRIDE, which raised €18 million.
