Now online: AI training Basic Digital Skills Module

The "AI training as part of the Basic Digital Professionalism module" is now available online, offering insights into artificial intelligence and its practical applications. This e-learning initiative, following the "Digital Resilience" component, aims to equip all government employees, both internal and external, with essential AI knowledge. This reflects a proactive step towards fostering digital literacy within the public sector. The e-learning module encompasses a learning component and an assessment, designed to be completed in approximately 30 minutes. Participants can pause and resume the training as needed. Upon completion, individuals will gain an understanding of AI, its various types, its presence in the workplace, and its potential to support their work. The training also covers identifying risks and adhering to responsible AI usage guidelines within the government. This training is accessible through the RADIO learning platform, and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK) already offers it on its own LOC learning platform. The initiative, commissioned by the CIO Rijk and Digitalization Policy department, aims to ensure that all employees are equipped with the skills necessary to work effectively in a digital environment. This is part of the mandatory basic training for the Public Professionalism program. The development of this e-learning module underscores the growing significance of AI in society and its increasing integration into the workplace. It reflects the government's commitment to harnessing AI's potential while prioritizing transparency, risk management, and responsible implementation. This training serves as a key component of the digital skills needed by civil servants.
